eyeCam has built a wearable smartphone technology called eyeHand that frees users from their handheld phone.

Essentially, eyeHand is a smartphone you wear on your wrist that turns your own hand into a touchscreen display, 3D mouse and controller, biometric key and wallet.

Directions are literally at your fingertips. You can capture, edit and share photos and video. You can make a call or video chat. The list goes on and on.

eyeCam itself is an innovation company. It develops products and technologies for other companies to manufacture and sell as their own.

With numerous patents and products in its pipeline, eyeHand takes advantage of four key technologies:

- Wearable Projection Display
- 3D Mapping
- 3D Interfacing
- Multi-layered Biometric Identification

eyeHand reference design kits are being developed for sale by original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Carriers in the US, Europe and Asia. eyeCam enables companies to acquire the emerging products and technologies they need to succeed, secure a faster ROI, and have the ability to add features and services that maximize ongoing revenue.

Team Background

Walt Maclay - CTO

Walt has over 30 years of management experience in custom electronics design for manufacture and has applied his leadership to many successful startups.

He was a design engineer for Texas Instruments and Fairchild, and more recently, his consulting clients include Applied Materials, Boeing, Boston Scientific, Intel, Lockheed Martin, Merck, NASA Ames, Northrop Grumman, Siemens, and Stanford University,

He graduated with honors from Syracuse University with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering.

James Fischer - Chief Product Designer

An award winning product designer, from 3D modeling, animation and patent illustration to hardware and software integration.
