Garageskins produces real wood overlays for garage doors.

Each year, homeowners spend billions of dollars on their home’s exterior, from landscaping to patio furniture. Meanwhile, their plain, metal garage doors go untouched.

Garageskins provides an inexpensive, easy to install solution to make their garage doors look great: it takes individual panels made from real wood and puts them on top of the existing garage door.

This creates a beautiful, long-lasting wood door that dramatically improves the looks (and value) of an existing home.

As QVC Home Improvement host Dan Hughes said: “(It’s) going to change the garage door industry.”

The company has two utility patents and more than 2,000 customers lined up for its April 2018 launch (that's about $2 million in revenue). Garageskins is also in talks with multiple home improvement shows to feature its product.

The company believes it can reach sales north of $10 million within three years.
