Location:

Senclo has developed a “smart” garage door opener.

Smart homes feature multiple devices — including thermostats, refrigerators, and home assistants — that communicate with each other through a wireless Internet connection.

According to Zion Market Research, the global smart home market is projected to reach $53 billion by 2022.

Senclo is targeting this growing market with its hands-free smart garage door opener.

After connecting this device to your smartphone, it can open door for you automatically when it senses you're arriving, or you can use it to control your garage door from anywhere in the world.

According to Cerebral-Overload, a website covering the latest in the technology industry, Senclo is "changing the game for what you think a garage door opener should be."

Senclo produces the only hands-free garage door opener that combines GeoLocation, Voice Control, and continuous Internet access. This makes it the smartest garage door opener on the market.

By using the HD touchscreen and mobile app, users can:

• Open and close the garage door using smart home assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Home
• Receive notifications on the mobile app when the door is opened
• Control the temperature inside the garage
• Grant access to friends and family members

Users can even create special accounts to give guests access, making it ideal for vacation rental properties through Airbnb.

The device is compatible with several technology brands, including Apple, Samsung, Android, Sony, Google, and Amazon.

The initial device was created in June 2017 and Senclo began shipping pre-orders in December 2017. The company projects to generate $173,000 in revenue by the end of 2018.

Senclo is in talks with retailers including Amazon, Lowe's, and Home Depot to have its product line available in stores.

Senclo's long-term goal is to join the collection of smart home devices that have been acquired by larger tech companies — for example:

In 2014, Google acquired Nest smart home thermostat for $3.2 billion…

And in February 2018, Amazon acquired Ring smart doorbell marker for $1 billion.
