A Neighborhood Knowledge Platform
Citiesense is a collaborative data platform for neighborhood communities.
It’s targeting the projected $25 billion market for location intelligence by focusing on the area where data is hardest to gather — at the neighborhood level.
Its platform is a map-based toolkit that creates a hub for data involving properties, public spaces, and neighborhood improvements. Users can track everything happening in a specific neighborhood, from the number of tenants on a specific street, to the potential financial benefit of setting up food trucks.
Citiesense completed the URBAN-X accelerator program, and received funding from SOSV, a venture capital firm that's previously invested in Leap Motion, JUMP Bikes, and Dispatch. The company has launched a beta version of its platform in New York City.
$250M venture capital fund focused on accelerating over 150 startups every year. Portfolio companies include Leap Motion and Harmonix.
