A "Keurig" For Food
With its “smart” coffee maker, Keurig became a leading beverage company, and was acquired for nearly $14 billion.
Counter-Intuitive Cooking has created a similar appliance for full meals. It calls it the “Keurig of food.”
This appliance is a kitchen robot that uses Artificial Intelligence to enable hands-free, remote, freezer-to-oven cooking. Simply put, the patented robot stores multiple pre-made frozen meals and autonomously prepares them in its attached oven.
The company completed a prototype of its robot in summer 2020. It's seeking capital to continue development of its machine and bring it to market by summer 2022.
