Find and Book Fitness Classes
Fitpeak is a digital marketplace targeting the $30 billion U.S. fitness industry.
By using its platform, clients can search for and book sessions with “active professionals.” These include personal trainers, martial arts instructors, coaches, and yoga & dance instructors.
At the same time, these professionals can use Fitpeak to schedule clients, automate payments, and manage their business.
According to a survey from Myprotein, a fitness-centric e-commerce retailer, the average American spends $155 per month on health and fitness, including the cost of hiring personal trainers.
But consumers often have difficulty finding and booking fitness sessions, and aren’t able to invite friends to join them.
Meanwhile, trainers and coaches haven’t had a convenient mobile platform enabling them to manage and grow their business.
Fitpeak solves these issues for both consumers and active professionals.
Users can browse professionals by location, category, and availability. They can view trainers’ individual profiles, see their schedules, and book services directly from their smartphone. They can also invite friends to join in their classes or sessions.
Professionals can invite clients, automate payments, and manage their schedule.
In exchange for using the platform, consumers pay a $2 transaction fee for each service booked, and professionals pay a $12 monthly fee to access Fitpeak’s Pro Dashboard.
Fitpeak launched in March 2018, and released a beta version of its platform in November 2018. The company expects to begin generating revenue in December 2018.
In addition, Fitpeak recently brought on Kevin Harrington as a company advisor. Harrington, an entrepreneur known for inventing the “infomercial,” was one of the original “sharks” on the TV show “Shark Tank.”
