Hercules Electric Vehicles is targeting this market with its fleet of customized, high-performance vehicles. These include trucks, SUVs, and recreational mobility vehicles.
Current electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers take a one-size-fits-all approach. In other words, customers don’t have the option to customize their vehicle.
Hercules, in contrast, allows customers to customize everything from the interior to the powertrain configuration. This is possible thanks to modular, scalable technology.
The company is initially targeting the sector for large luxury SUVs and pickups. According to Experian Automotive, luxury EVs outsell non-luxury by a 4:1 margin.
Hercules has a partnership with Prieto Batteries for co-development of its solid-state batteries, and sales channel partnerships for 35 U.S. stores.
