The market for smartphone chargers just surpassed $11 billion.

But current options are disappointing. Charging “bricks” are bulky. Cases with built-in chargers are expensive. And “wireless” chargers aren’t actually wireless — they still need to be plugged in.

SoloQi has created a truly wireless charging solution for smartphones. Users simply place their phone on the charger’s patented Magnetic Pad, and the device will begin charging.

SoloQi’s charging system is capable of charging two devices at once. It’s equipped with a kickstand, which enables users to work, watch movies, or make video calls hands-free.

SoloQi had a successful soft launch at b8ta Innovations, a national electronics retailer. Its charger became one of b8ta’s best-selling products, and helped SoloQi generate $117,000 in sales in four months.

Following that success, SoloQi signed distribution agreements with Apple and Costco.
