Swift Rails

Swift Rails is a new type of on-demand transit that’s 5x faster and 40x cheaper than conventional light-rail.

This system uses autonomous vehicles that travel rapidly on a highway of ultra-light rails. Vehicles are hailed using an app and deliver passengers directly to their destination with zero emissions. The rails are elevated 12 to 15 feet above traffic and pedestrians.

Swift Rails has built a test track and full-scale vehicle prototype. It’s since completed more than 1,000 test rides.

The company has secured a Letter of Intent from Clarkson University to build its Showcase Demonstration Project on the campus.
