Market For Vegan Foods
Forbes and The Economist have declared 2019 “The Year of the Vegan.”
Vegan Fine Foods is capitalizing on this declaration by creating an all-vegan market and cafe franchise. The company sells vegan-based groceries, prepared food, and health and beauty products.
In just 15 months, Vegan Fine Foods has generated $1.2 million in revenue, and served more than 35,000 customers from its flagship location. Now it’s raising capital to open additional stores.
The market for meat alternatives is rising fast. Notably, a company called Beyond Meat (NASDAQ: BYND), a producer of plant-based meat substitutes, went public in May 2019. On its first day of trading, the company's stock price surged 160%. CBS News reported the company has been the most successful IPO of 2019.
