ClimateStore curates and sells "climate-friendly" products.

It aims to build a high-impact retail brand that supports climate-friendly living -- a brand along the lines of a Patagonia.

In 5 years, it seeks to become the "go-to" commerce brand for people seeking sustainable solutions.

Its revenues come from website sales, partnerships, catalogs, marketplaces and, ultimately, like Patagonia, physical stores.

At ClimateStore.com, consumers can shop for solution, as well as get educated.

To date, it's sourced over 400 low-carbon products from 30 different suppliers. It's organized these products into 40 categories like Thermostats, Smart Home, and LED Lighting, and it's integrated them into broader "action plans" that consumers can take advantage of.

Based on its pilot efforts, the company brought in ~500 orders from about 400 customers, worth a total of $42,000.

The company has gotten some good mainstream press, including a post on BuzzFeed that includes a collection of ClimateStore products that "help organize your life."
