ComicBlitz is building the world’s largest comic book store and providing unlimited access to it. This is an "all-you-can-read" digital platform for thousands of comics.

For the most part, comics are still an "old school" business: to get access to one, you visit a physical store where you can buy a 20-page issue that costs $3.99.

But there are 120 ongoing series between Marvel & DC alone. Imagine dishing out $4 for each issue of each series you're interested in every month.

ComicBlitz is bringing comics into the 21st century by offering a true all-you-can-read subscription for digital comics.

For the cost of two issues ($7.99), comic fans can now get unlimited access to thousands of comics. The company has created a seamless user experience: sign up, choose your plan, and take hundreds of series anywhere you go. Read on your laptop, iPad, iPhone, and (coming in February) Android.

Subscriptions are the future of media—just take a look at Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, all for TV alone.

It makes sense that digital subscriptions are also the answer for comic books, which depend on monthly issues and loyal readers.

The company has created a win-win solution for readers (who can consume as much as they want) and for publishers (who can now easily engage loyal customers).

That helps explain why the company already has over 775 available titles, such as James Bond, Star Trek, My Little Pony, and more.

As Samantha Saturn, Former CMO of Comixology (a competitor to Comic Blitz) said: "Having worked with the biggest in the business, I am extremely impressed with the way ComicBlitz is approaching the market. They have a keen understanding of the customer need, and they are clearly demonstrating to publishers that this model is here to stay. With the right backing, they will be unstoppable in the field."

And as Michael Kim, a senior exec at Spotify, said: "Having been immersed in the subscription business at Spotify, I am uniquely suited to sense the possibilities of an up and coming company making waves in a similar vertical. Digital media is the wave of the future, and I’m so impressed with how ComicBlitz has been able to be at the forefront of that transition in the comics industry. Behind the scenes, they have all the right elements in place, and I’m truly looking forward to them taking over the space in the near future!”
