DogTelligent is creating intelligent, connected products helping dogs live longer, healthier and happier lives, while keeping them closer to their owners.

DogTelligent’s first offering is the DogTelligent Connected Collar system. It will be the world’s first all-in-one smart dog collar with Virtual Fence & Leash Technology, Health & Location Tracking, Dynamic Assisted Training, Built-in Anti Barking and 2-Way Communication. The fully integrated and patent pending smart collar is also combined with an easy-to-use mobile application.

69% of dog owners feel that their dog is important to their health, but 1 in 8 dogs are lost, and 75% feel guilty leaving their pet alone, yet 82% of dogs are left alone for up to 10 hours a day. In addition, 52% of dogs are overweight, but only 7% of owners are aware of it. At an MSRP of $159.95, DogTelligent estimates the potential for the Connected Collar to be $1.3 billion (or 10% of dog owners).

Following a successful Indiegogo campaign, which raised approximately $120,000 in four days, DogTelligent believes the Connected Collar will serve as the platform to activate and communicate with an entire array of IoT dog products that it plans to produce, such as a Feeder, Bowl and Dog Door.

Proceeds from this round of financing will be used for manufacturing & engineering, software development and hiring, as well as provide six months of working capital.
