The U.S. soft drink market has reached $250 billion.
However, consumers have an increasing desire for healthier options that, unlike traditional soft drinks, aren’t loaded with high-fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners.
Smart Soda is filling this gap. It offers vitamin-infused sparkling alkaline waters, as well as sodas made with organic cane sugar. Its drinks are 100% natural, vegan, gluten free, and can be infused with CBD.
Smart Soda’s CEO was the U.S. exclusive partner and distributor of SodaStream, a company selling at-home machines that turn water into carbonated beverages. In August 2018, SodaStream was acquired by Pepsi for $3.2 billion.
Smart Soda sells its beverages in ready-to-drink bottles, and in “bags-in-a-box” that can be served through the company’s soda dispensers. These dispensers can be found in Holiday Inn hotels, Bareburger restaurants, and company offices including Allianz and B&H Photo.
